Gosh, this is just terrible... I really hope that Layla gets the help she needs! Bureaucratic red tape is such a nightmare! That insurance company should be ashamed of themselves! I wish her good health and a speedy recovery!

As someone who had the same form of cancer, I'm sending hugs and positive thoughts Layla's way... Can't even imagine going through what she's dealing with now.
I really wish we could afford tp help, so I'll send hugs and prayers instead.
That is just insane! Insurance agencies have always made me sick with things like that. People have died because of pre-existing illnesses that they have refused to cover. Like, the baby that was born sick. Layla has my prayers!

I don't normally post stuff like this one the boards, but seeing as it's regarding a hive member, I found it too important not to share!
Hive member WishfulLayla (she's from a while back, so many older users will remember her) is going through some serious health issues right now. There is a cause starting up on Twitter and a bunch of her friends' blogs to try and help raise money for her medical needs. You can read all about it here. Please at least read it, and if you aren't able to give (I know many people can't!) then please consider tweeting about it, or maybe even posting on your blog. Or, just send her some love with your comments here. Anything is appreciated.
