Oh, LOL... if you use what FutureMrs says for the "yes" then YES! :) So cute!
I absolutely LOVE "I'll be there hook, line and sinker" and "Sorry, gone fishin'"!! Those are great and yes, people will get it and think it is fun. We got comments on our RSVP cards.
Another thought: "You caught us!" and "Sorry, we got away". I don't like it as much as the others but its another thought.
I had another thought to make the no more clear: Sorry, no gone fishin. Something to make it clear for some people who may not understand, but it's super cute. I would love to see how the invites and wedding turns out...it's so original!
Very cute, I love the "hook, line, & sinker" comment. I would definitely understand it!
Future Mrs - SHE LOVED IT! Thank you so much all of you for your help!!! I'll be sure to share this one when I finishe it as well!
I would absolutely understand, before I read your word choice I guessed it. Great idea!

I'm desiging some invites for a girlfriend of mine and it's kinda fishing themed. I hvae a little bobber on there and what not.
On the RSVP I thought it might be fun to play with the words instead of simply "Declines with regret..." and what not what about
"I'll be there!" for yes
"Sorry, Gone FIshin'" for the no
Would you understand this if you got it?
Do you have any other fun suggestions?
Thanks!
