I have begun looking into bridesmaid gifts, and my friend suggested something from the thirtyone brand (she sells it) I found these cute thermal lunch totes that I can have their names or initals sewn onto. They would cost me $25 dollars with a name and $18 without a name a piece. I just wanted to get feedback from you ladies on whether or not you would enjoy getting one if you were a bridesmaid, and if you would use it.
I will of course get my girls some other things besides these, I’m just not sure what yet.
I’m sorry if the picture is so big, but this is the bad I picked out, and it comes in other fun colors and patterns so each girl could have a different one.

I wouldn’t use it but I also don’t use them. If they would use them and go for it 🙂

@gcassioppi: I would rather have a regular tote or a clutch, IMO

Another poster said shop for Bridesmaids as if it’s their birthday… which I believe is brilliant logic!
Would you gift a lunch tote for a birthday?
Would you gift the same gifts (even if it’s a different pattern) for their birthday?
That said… my answer would be no. I believe you should think about each Bridesmaid and base your gift on their likes and personality.

@gcassioppi: I for one think they’re cute, but find them kinda odd as BM gifts. Maybe if you put things inside? Like snacks or a mini bottle of wine? Or things to “feed the soul” like a heartfelt letter?

@gcassioppi: I think I’d rather have an overnight bag. I wouldn’t use that but I’d def use an overnight bag. Maybe a bigger version of that bag! I likethe idea of what pp mentioned above….it would be cute to put things in and then give as a gift!

I’d use it!! But I do think it would also be cute to pack it with some cute stuff!!

@gcassioppi: I can’t tell you how many pieces of lunch carrying devices I’ve received as gifts over the years. I guess anyone who works is perceived to need items to help them lunch.
Have not used one of them.

Personally I really don’t like it. It seems more suited to a 12 year old girl!

I think it’s cute but I definitely would not have it monogrammed. No one in the adult world I occupy, has their name on anything.

FI’s SIL got me a tote with my name on it for christmas from thirtyone and I like it. She put stuff inside of it too, which was nice. I don’t think I own anything else that has my name on it…but honestly I think it’s really sweet. But I agree with others that you shouldn’t get the lunch tote, a regular tote would be cool.
