I personally like it a lot. The eyes could maybe be a little softer but if you are looking for something dramatic, I say go for it. It looks really pretty!
I think the eye makeup could be blended better. There are very nice smoky eyes out there to model after, but the hard edge of these are too ring-like around your eye. The colors are great on you, though.

Thanks! I wasnt sure if it gave me raccoon eyes. Normally I wear a ton of makeup anyway so I was going for a more dramatic look, but just wanted to see if this was overboard ;)
I think it looks good but I agree with Amaryllis that the eyeshadow should be blended more. Or maybe another shade put in between the darker and lighter eyeshadows so it's more of a gradual color change.
I agree that the eyeshadow could fade out more gradually or be blended into your skin tone more. Otherwise your makeup looks awesome. I love the balance between a smoky eye and a more natural lip.
I personally think this is great! You need to have a more dramatic makeup to look great in pictures!
I really like it, I don't think it's too much. I would agree as others have suggested to soften out the edges a bit.
I do love the shadow color. Would you mind sharing what shadow was used?
I would also agree on blending it a bit more, or using a slightly lighter "dark" eyeshadow to avoid the huge difference in color.
Love it! I think it looks great on you and I don't think it needs any more blending. You will look so saucy in your photos!

While we are at it here are some pics of the hair that I like the most, but I am not sure if I need a little bit of bang or something in the front to cover my gargantuan forehead. Anyone want to weigh in? Please be brutally honest - dont be afraid to tell me if its all wrong for me :)

i love the updo! beautiful & not overdone by any means. you look lovely :)
The updo is gorgeous! I actually think bangs aren't really necessary; it looks good the way it is. It has a good amount of height at the top.
Ask your FI what he thinks of the makeup. I'd say if he thinks it's too heavy, then you should consider lightening the look a little.
@mcnetn3 - oh how that would make it so much easier... he says whatever I like, he likes. He doesnt want to give an opinion on hair, makeup, dress... etc. :)
I don't think you need to do a thing with the hairdo...it's perfect as it.
I love it all, especially the hair! The hair is awesome!

I think if your wedding is going to be a more formal event, evening time, dramatic colors... then the eyeshadow is great (with a little more blending like others have said). If it's a daytime or casual event, I'd say to go lighter.
i love the updo! and also have forehead issues so i know how you feel. i think it's hot as is, but would also look great with a swoopy side bang
I love love LOVE that updo on you!! You have the perfect face shape to pull that style off. Talk about chic and modern, that style totally embodies that for you. You not only look like a bride, but a celebrity on the red carpet!! Love it!!
I like it except for the eyeshadow. I think the eyeshadow is too dramatic. You have a pretty face and great skin.
