I haven’t tried on either of these dresses, But Was looking at the Maggie Sottero Nova dress and also the Raylene Louise dress. Anyone try these on? thoughts? photos? Im going to call my local store tomorrow to see if they have the dresses to try on to see if they work. I want something different, and I guess im going for a 40’s romatic classic look. Im so lost when it comes to dresses, I tried talking to my mom about them today and she was more worried about a tv show that was on. I didn’t bring anyone for my first wedding not even her, and now that im getting married again I want people there but I don’t think she will get the classic/romantic look im going for. okay vent over! 🙂

They are both beautiful but I really love the Nova!

I think they would both work very well for a plus size girl, but I like the Nova better as well. Depending on your shape, sometimes the big pick ups and big skirt can add more bulk and size. That’s what happened to me when I tried those dresses on. I think the first dress might be ok because of the dropped waist, but I still like Nova better. I think it would be stunning on a woman with curves!

It REALLY does depend on your figure.
If you are more of an apple shape, than yes, either of dress is flattering.
If you are, like me, and you carry all your, uh, “junk in the trunk”, than, you really should go with an A-line cut with a V-plunge or sweetheart neckline.
