Ok, I am having a fall wedding, my colors are plum, burnt orange and Ivory! My girls are wearing plum dresses and I’m a little confused on what color shoes to put them in?! AND…I’m wondering If I shld jus wear ivory shoes to match my dress or I shld do something different and wear plum shoes or even burnt orange!?! What do you all think? Thx guys!

I would put your girls in black, nude, or metallic-colored shoes with plum-colored dresses. You could wear ivory, plum or burnt orange — whatever you choose. 🙂

I had the same thing…my BMs had olive green dresses…I opted for a chamagne (cream shimmer) shoe and decided to have the flowers cream with my olive green and brown accents.

Completely agree with Brielle. I wouldn’t put the girls in ivory or burnt orange shoes. I think a fun colored shoe for you would be kind of neat 🙂

Are the BM dresses long or short? If long then it doesn’t really matter as no one would see thm. I would ask the BMs to wear nute, gold, or bronze shoes.
You can wear any color shoes you like. They don’t have to match the color scheme at all.

Could you have their shoes dyed to match their dresses? My girls are wearing eggplant for my wedding in June and they had their shoes dyed to match and they turned out gorgeous!

@Crystal30: Since the dresses are long, and almost no one will actually see their shoes, I would choose an easy color that the girls already likely have in the closet so they don’t have to go out and buy new shoes. Nude, gold or black are good choices.
