Hey, Ladies!  I got my wedding dress, a beautiful Justin Alexander, and although I have to get it hemmed a bit, it fits perfectly!  We are planning a very small wedding in Montego Bay, Jamaica, at the Sandals resort.  At first, I was just going to wear a small flower/clip in my hair with no veil.  Then I got the crazy idea that I could have a birdcage veil made for me.  I could have my seamstress make it from the tulle cut off the bottom.  What do you all think?

Love the idea of a bird cage veil and if it is from material that is just going to be tossed, I say go for it!

I agree.  I think it would be pretty.

That's not a crazy idea at all! I think it's really cute. And if you don't want to keep/preserve your gown, you could always keep the veil as a memento of something that came from your dress. What a resourceful idea!

Birdcages are so fabulous. I'd say go for it!

I think that would be really cool!  That way, you'd know that the tulle would match your dress.

Sounds like a great idea to me! Get something that'll look fabulous AND recycle material that was going to get tossed anyhow! :D
