So I (thought) I had reached saturation with DIY projects, and was just going to use my venue’s card box, when my sister somehow talked me into making a card box.
I purchased the boxes from a craft store (~$8), but then committed myself to using only scraps of what I have left from other projects.
I think it still needs something, but I can’t figure out what it is. I’m going to write “cards” on the little easel on top, but I’m still not sure what else to do. I have tons more ribbon, flowers, rhinestones, etc.
My mom says it looks fine. My brain says something missing. What do you think? (be honest– I think I got the DIY bug back)

So- I just have to share this. I told FI that I’m surveying bees about our card box, and he was like “Really?? Why? What would peopleeven say– ‘Your card box indicates that your wedding will be a failure'”
Made me LOL. Kind of puts things in perspective 🙂

LOL at your FI’s comment.
I think it looks good! I can’t imagine what you would add.

I like your card box. I wouldn’t add anything else because it’s already busy.
It’s funny how guys can put things in perspective eh? They definitely don’t put as much thought into these little details like we do, and maybe they’re right.. do guests really care about this stuff?
