I think that you should go with a simple tulle single layer veil, I think that a simple veil will add to the dress and not distract from it. JMO
I think because the dress already has such beautiful texture, you should go with something simple for the veil.
I say a simple veil as well. Especially if you are wearing a hair flower as well... you don't want to have too much detail. Less is more in my opinion.
simple veil i will say..because my dress has so much details; im thinking simple veil as well..of course what ever you like
I think it depends on your personality. If you love it, go for it!!
I vote you go a bit simpler....but LOVED your photoshopping! :P
In the end, wear whatever makes you feel good! Who cares if it's "too much", have you SEEN some of the dresses/veils/rings/shoes/husbands out there!? There is no "too much" anymore. :)
Thank you so much for all the feedback! I definitely want a single layer veil. I'm gonna post some pics of kinda what the flower details might look like up close. I think the effect will be subtle enough (sheer fabric for flowers) and spread out enough to pull off, but it seems like at least half the ppl that responded to the poll think it's way too much! The more opinions I get the better!

And this is more accurate of what my hairstyle would look like. Originally I didn't even really want a veil, but my mom insisted that a bride is not a bride without a veil. So to please her i started looking around and the ones with the cascading flowers got my attention.

The veil is pretty, but the dress is so detailed I don't think the veil should compete with it. Simple tulle veil will look great. :)
I think it will look softer than in the picture. I think it would look beautiful!
I love the second veil. I think it would look beautiful! Where are u getting the dress made?
Thank you! Actually the dress is from Mary's Karelina Sposa Collection C7832.
I'm so sad, I cant see your photoshop photo ! :( Have you made a decision yet ?
I love the idea of a veil, just not THAT veil! I love what the other Bees posted above, though! Good luck!

I bought this dress and I love all the detail and texture it has! I've always been drawn to a more modern yet romantic long veil look, specifically those that look like they have cascading/falling petals. I like the look of the veil style with the dress because I think it enhances the romantic textural feel of the dress, but is it too much? I don't want to look overdone or anything. What do you think?
