I’m torn about which belt option to go with: 1) no belt, 2) narrow blingy belt, or 3) wider blingy belt (with a chiffon border). I’ve attached pics below. Which one do you think looks best with my dress and figure?
Our wedding is 5 months away, so I need to decide sooner rather than later. Thanks in advance 🙂
Option 1: No belt
Option 2: Narrow blingy belt
Option 3: Wider blingy belt with a chiffon border (close up and full length pics)

Sorry my pics are huge! I can’t resize them in my post 🙁

I Think either option 1 or 2. I love the dress without the belt and with the second belt kind of looks too much for me but that’s just me. Either way the dress is amazing but i would go with no belt so that the focus is on the dress not on the blingy belt 🙂 Good luck you’ll look gorgeous either ways

Definitely the narrow blingy belt! I think it does a great job of hiding the seam where the bodice meets the skirt. I think option three is very pretty but the more narrow belt doesn’t take anything away from your figure, whereas number three does a little bit.

I love the narrow blingy belt! It looks like it was meant to be on your dress! It definitely looks like something is missing having no belt and the wide belt stands out too much in my opinion. I think the 2nd option flatters the dress and your body in the best way 🙂

i really like hte wide belt, but i also think a plain ribbon sash would look really soft and romantic 🙂

Thanks, bees! I was originally leaning towards Option 3 (wide belt), but I think your votes are swaying me towards Option 2 (narrow belt)…
I’ll have to get a full-length picture with the narrow belt the next time I visit my dress (it’s with the seamstress right now)… that way, I’ll be able to compare apples to apples!

@stargurl101: Yes, a plain sash would look good too. Actually, the model pic features a plain chiffon (or tulle?) sash.

@cdn_bunny: is your skirt tulle? If so I think a tulle sash would compliment your romantic dress

@cdn_bunny: The narrow belt as it doesn’t take over the detail like the wider one does.

I like the wider belt. Do you have a full length picture without the belts?

The wider belt is nicer, it stands out. I couldnt see the narrow belt at first as it blended in with the top ofthe dress. maybe something more contrasting if you like the narrow belt better?

I’m in the minority here, but I most prefer your dress without a belt. Somehow the belts seem like too much with the detail on the bodice of your dress…at least for me.

I prefer the look of the wider belt, especially from the full length picture. IMO it helps break up the dress and define your waist.

i like number 2, but you should also try it on with something that has some colour… lavendar, purple, rose… something like that and see if you like it
