For me, Meredith definitely works with the other names

Love the name Meredith but here are 2 other names that I think might work?  How about Gwyneth or Genevieve?  Both sound great with the other sibling names and Gwyneth ends in (th) just like Meredith!  Also love the names Lillian and Audrey!  Lillian is my middle name and Audrey is my aunt’s name! 🙂

Another great classic somewhat old fashion name that I like is Caroline or what about Charlotte? I think both names are nice and would flow nicely with the other siblings names as well.  Ultimately it is up to you just thought I would throw out a few other name suggestions!

I think it’s a perfect fit. All four names are very feminine and all of the Merediths I have met have all been very strong, beautiful women.

While I like Meredith on its own you have two girls with an “en” sound at the end and one with a “ey” sound….what about another “ey” sounding name like Mallory or Hillary or Stephanie. I dunno, I’m all for symmetry lol. “These are my girls Evelyn, Lillian, Audrey and Mallory”…..has a nice ring to it

I do really like Meredith though 😊

Mjv1 :

Maybe not the last baby? You’re a brave, brave woman 😂  Meredith is a lovely name and it sounds good with the others so don’t worry!

Mjv1 :  I think it goes.  I had a friend in high school named Meridith and I’ve always liked the name.  The only problem is that everyone wanted to shorten her name and called her “Mer”, which she hated.  That’s the only negative I can see.

Mjv1 :  So many people think it’s ‘Merideth’ or ‘Meridith’ (which it looks like someone else on this thread actually spells it this way – I’ve never seen it that way before!) or ‘Meredeth’.

I’ve also gotten some really off the wall spellings.. like ‘Marydith’ or ‘Marydeath’ or ‘Maridith’.. those are normally at fast food places where they ask for your name.. it’s always really butchered on the ticket.. lol

I’ve also had some people think I said ‘Mary Beth’

Sorry it took so long to respond, weddingbee wouldn’t work on my phone over the weekend for some reason!

ETA: Most of my close friends always called me ‘Mere’ (Mer), and I never minded it. A lot of my family called me ‘Mary’ for short (though they spelled it like ‘Mere’), until it got really confusing now that my sister and I both have mother in law’s with similar names. My niece still calls me ‘Aunt Mere’

I really like it, and I think it works really well with your other girl’s names.  It’s an older name like the rest.

I don’t like matchy names, so these names all sound they are their own persons. pick the name you like. meredith is a perfectly beautiful name in its own right.
