I think it would look nice as a sweetheart. I don't really like the straight across top. Not sure about the back though. Mine was sort of like that.
Has anyone else had the neckline on their dress altered from straight to sweetheart? Was it difficult?
When i tried on dresses they told me it was easy. They said they just put a wire it in.
Changing it to a sweetheart (just a little dip, not a "v") would be really easy to do and "soften" the front of the dress.
That big V back is going to be hard to do though I think. If you really want a lot of alterations on the dress I'm sure they can do it. You may be able to find a different dipped back picture that isn't as extreme though.
Thanks everyone for the insight! I will talk to the seamstress about my options and go from there
I think you should change it to sweetheart. It will look great. I also like the shape of the second dress.

My first visit for alterations is in a few days. I really liked the simplicity of the dress when I purchased it (A-line, no beading, no ruffles, etc.) but now I'm thinking that a few changes might be more flattering. Can I get some opinions?
