I think it looks pretty, but not really ‘formal’. The top definitely needs more volume, and I worry that the curls will just fall flat.

I agree… It’s a pretty “every day” look, but needs a little something extra for your big day :).

It’s nice, but as PPs have said it doesn’t really scream “wedding”. Do you have a sparkly comb or clip or something?

I don’t mean this to come across rude, but the ends of your hair look like they need a trim. Maybe add a touch of volume .. maybe have thicker pieces for the curls so they don’t look wispy…

In general though I love long and curled, so glamorous. 🙂

I think this is a cute every day look as well, as PP have said.. also, and please don’t take this wrong, did someone use a ton of product (ie hairspray) on those curls? That would explain why your roots lie flat and the bottom looks “crunchy”. Hairspray is great, don’t get me wrong, but the wrong kinds have weigh down your curls and they won’t stay long. I’d recommend if you do want to keep your hair down to make sure whomever is styling curls at the ROOT of your hair first then works down with the iron. It’s best to find a low-weight volumizing product to add when your hair is dry and a finishing spray that will fight humidity and fly aways without making your hair look ‘wet’ all day. However, with the amount of hair you have, you should consider doing this swept to one side of an updo, your hair seems to be somewhat thin and it would be a great way to add the illusion of volume! Just a suggestion. That said, if you love it, lady, rock it! 🙂

I think it would look better half up, half down with more volume on top.

I had similar hair for my wedding, but did more of a half-up/half-down look – it looks like we have very similar hair color/length though! So here’s my look in case it helps you out at all:

You have beautiful hair and I think it looks really pretty but I think it would look better with a little more oomph up top in the crown area and maybe a blingy hair clip as well! I think with those additions it would be perfect!

@weddingbound:  totally agree. More volume is almost always the answer. Except in the ’80’s.

@chelseahurtado89:  I think the crown needs some volume, and maybe have your stylist shake out the curls so they look more romantic and not so structured. @E_Lynne615‘s look is perfection.
