It’s an interesting idea. At least it is something that gets used up, rather than a knick knack that collects dust. How will you choose the scent though? People tend to have very different preferences for candle scents. I guess there would be the risk of people not wanting it/throwing it away if they didn’t like the scent.

Since you are getting married in December I don’t think you can go wrong with holiday scents(ex: christmas tree, cinnamon, etc)

Think of it this way…if people leave them behind you are set for quite awhile with some good smelling candles

I love Yankee Candles, so of course I’d say yes!

I would LOVE a yankee candle as a wedding guest..however, I think FI and most of his friends probably wouldn’t be too enthused about a candle. LOL but overall I think it’s a great idea, especially if you go with the holiday scents!

Balsam & Cedar is my absolute fave. With that, I would never throw away a YC, maybe regift or something, but definitely not toss.

I just had a thought. What if you alternated between your two favorite scents at each place setting. That way each couple goes home with two different scents or your guests can trade with each other if they want. Just an idea..
