I think it’s very pretty but your opinion should be the only one that matters! It will be on your hand for many years to come. I’m not normally a halo fan but I really like that ring!

If a flush band is very important to you, then do not get this ring.  It is almost impossible to find a matching band for an existing engagement ring.  You will just end up being frustrated and unhappy.  The halo is stunning and it’s great that the price is right, but if  you can’t deal with a gap of some kind, don’t get it.

I agree with the above poster, if you definitely don’t want a gap and plan to ever wear your wedding band alone, find a ring that allows a band to sit flush. My halo has a similar basket and the only way I could have a band sit flush would have been to get a curved band which I didn’t want. I went with a straight band that caused a gap and I actually prefer that look now.

I h ave a band like that.  My ring isn’t a halo, but the basket sits low.  We got it on clearancec in a hurry.  I don’t like it at all.  I want to find something else.  Just by thought on the band.

I love that ring and mine is somewhat similar. My ring came with 2 bands, but I only wanted one. The jeweler suggested I go ahead and get both so that I can wear the 2 curved bands without my engagement ring and it will still look pretty. My has the diamonds on the curve as well.

    Hope that helps

I want the same style ring but in rose gold. I love it! If you’re worried about a gap though I would look a little more. The ring I’m getting is set higher so a band can sit flush with it.

I’m not a fan of that ring. I wanted one with a raised halo so my wedding ring would sit flush without a gap, and I wanted wedding rings that could be worn alone without the engagement ring. If you want to wear you wedding ring alone, that would look weird. But if you don’t mind rocking the gap or you’ll always wear your set together and you really love that one, then go for it.

It looks a bit cocktail-ish to me.

slw0546340:  Well you might have a band ( sort of like the one in the picture) modified to fit. It will cost extra but it’s amazing what they can do nowadays.

I loved my ring at once but I did not like the high setting and our local jeweller said he cant do because he does not have equipment it but he can send it for ‘laser surgery’ where they do precision work. Did not cost much! And when it came back it looked like it was made this way from the start – I was over the moon!

So might help to talk to a few manufacturing jewellers!!
