wow, I have to say that this is stunning. Although I am not a big fan of the dark grey color but maybe thats because of the lighting. I just dont think it goes with the white lanters and frames. BUT I say if you love it, go for it!

I think it is very beautiful.  It has a very dramatic look to it.

I love the centerpieces and how it comes together, however I do think the tablecloth might be a little dark.  I would opt for something a little lighter like you mentioned.

The funny think about grey is that it’s 45 different colors. It will have undertones of blue, green, brown, and sometimes purple. Your table number frames arepulling out the blue in the tablecloth. Try make the filigree dark charcoal instead of blue & that might help pull it together a bit more. I do love the whole look though. From the detail of the stripe to the low floral arrangements, it looks great!!

I think it looks fabulous! Great job.  I agree with a pp that the blue on the table numbers seems a bit out of place- maybe it’s just my monitor.

@karenlinebarger:  Agreed. I love the way it looks, but yes, change the filigree color to grey or red. The blue is out of place.

Black and white pictures are awesome!  I don’t think the grey is too dark.

It’s beautiful.  If you want to lighten it up, use your white napkins on the table under the silverware.  Then you will have more of the gray covered.  I think it would make a big difference.

Yes on the black and white pics.  If you have someone who can photoshop for you and you have pics that would work for this, then you could put in touches of red in the black and whites.

I think it looks great! I do think the linen is a little too dark BUT I still think it looks wonderful ‘as is’!
