Tanleggedjuliet:  My answer would partly depend on the occasion that this dress would be worn. In general, I think it is a cute dress.

Tanleggedjuliet:  I like it! But I am just quirky like that.  I really like the neckline on the bust, and I like the sillouhette.  The floral design isn’t off putting.  Looks like a dress you would wear to a garden party.

Tanleggedjuliet:  I agree that it depends on the occasion. For a garden or retro party- awesome. Personally I don’t like the print too much but thats more personal taste. I like more modern/simple florals whereas this is more of a traditional retro floral….

I like the blue one better than the brown. The brown reminds me vaguely of my grandmother’s couch.

Tanleggedjuliet:  ah- I would ask them first what they want the primary color to be. Florals come in every color under the rainbow so someone needs to narrow it down a bit for you.

Something like these is more my style, retro feel and fit but a more modern print that I would feel comfortable wearing again to a nice event:

i love it if that’s the look you’re going for! I think your hair/makeup/ shoes would need to be modern and verrrry classic ex. a simple pump. The dress has a very 50’s look to it so I think if your hair/makeup/ shoes also have a 50’s look it could end up looking a bit like a costume. The dress itself though, I think is adorable.

It depends on what your personal fashion is usually like. I do not do the retro look very often, if ever, and that is what those dresses remind me of – the silhouette, and the floral print. But for others, it would fit their personality perfectly!

I’m on the fence about this dress. I think it is really adorable, for the right person. I know my personal style could never pull it off. But the shape of the dress and the neckline are great. I’m not too sure on the difference bust thing it’s got going on.

Like the PP said, I prefer more simple and modern floral patterns.

i love the florals – it’s the bust that i am not in love with. although it may look very nice once it is on!

I think it is cute. I would wear the teal one.
