Hey all – just need some opinions on a proposed menu and if the cost seems okay. Any suggestions for changes? The reception will start at 4:30 with dinnar at 5:15. I am a little concerned it doesn’t go with our “theme” of Montana/outdoorsy/woodsy style, but what do you guys think?
Assorted chicken skewers, caprese skewers (marinated fresh mozzarella, grape tomatoes, and fresh basil), crudite platter with spreads (fresh vegetable assortment with seeded triangles and a mixed veggie cream sheese and hummus spread), and drunken sausage.
Buffet style dinner:
Salad: Ceaser, Strawberry spinach with silvered almonds and apple cider honey vinaigrette
Entrees: BBQ chicken breast, baron of beef (slow roasted beef roast, red wine marinade, carrots, onion, and celery), linguini mescolanza (linguini tossed with tomatoes, green and black olives, capers, mushrooms and basil in garlic infused oil, topped with shredded parmesan cheese)
Sides: Double baked potatoes topped with cheddar cheese, roasted squash medley, whole kernel sweet corn
$26pp (5-10 year olds are half price) – includes water, lemonade, coffee, china plates, silverware, glasses, linen (dinner) and appetizer napkins, and set-up/clean-up.
Is there anything I am overlooking?
