Is this dress fabric (jacquard) too heavy LOOKING for summer wedding?

I think it is really pretty and would totally be ok for a summer wedding… I don’t think the skirt on this one is matching what you are thinking though… It doesn’t look like it would be very “swingy”

@hm_bride:  it looks heavy for July, and what is the fabric made of? Cotton? it may be ok but heavy. poly? no, that’s way too hot.

@julies1949:  I agree. Jacquard is a very thick and heavy fabric. If the venue is really well airconditioned you might get away with the heat factor but the fabric will be heavy.

@hm_bride:  My wedding was in July and I wore a very solidly built satin dress with tulle overlay on the skirt….all night. No one said anything about it looking too heavy, etc..and I was totally fine in it. If you love it – go for it!

Any dress that’s short won’t be too heavy! Long gowns can be stilfing. I say go for it; it’s goegeous and unique!
