I personally think the ivory on ivory looks younger than the ivory on champagne (sorry to be so forward, but I would expect a somewhat older bride to wear the champagne in this case).

    Love the dress though!

@JLR1982:  I meant a somewhat older bride than you are 🙂 so ivory on ivory for you!

I thought the same. I thought that you were 25-27 years at the very most!. (This is not a older bride). I would go with the ivory on ivory. Champagne is for older brides.

I love the light champagne with ivory because it makes the lace pattern stand out. Also, I think that, since you are blonde, this combination of colors will suit you very well. Beautiful dress!

I tried on a dress that had both a lace over ivory and lace over champaigne option and  I thought the lace over ivory was a lot better for me.

I have seen gals rock ivory lace over champagne but for me (very pale skin, red hair) the champagne color seemed dirty and dull looking.

Wow – aren’t you just gorgeous?! I think you could wear a sack and look fab!

But with your colouring I wouldn’t go with champagne – it’s too warm for your skin tones.

I’d done for a cool rosey pink/blush, ice blue or even pewter/silver.

But as those don’t seem to be options for that dress, I would just choose ivory.

I think the champagne really shows off the lace detailing

I agree that a blush underlay would look fantastic with your coloring.

@JLR1982:  I love the ivory lace over champagne. I don’t think it makes anyone look older. The champage makes the dress more interesting, the lace pops and I would remember the champagne underlay. The Ivory over ivory looks standard.

    Champagne is a winner!

I personally love how the champagne make s the lace detail pop as opposed to just blend in.

I love both, but I think I’m leaning towards the champagne!
