    Hi all you lovely bee's : )

I need some advice. My boyfriend and I are picking out rings. I like this one but is too many diamonds? I am going back and forth on either this one or a single brillant cut diamond solitare with a paved band. What do you ladies think of this ring as my engagement ring? Feel free to brutally honest : )

    Thanks In Advance

There is no such thing as too many diamonds!  It's beautiful!  BTW, is that one ring or a set? It looks like an ering with two diamond bands to me.

Gosh really? Thanks so much for giving me your opinion. Means a lot!  I showed it to my brother and he said its nice but does not look like an "engagement ring". He thinks the solitaire rings symbolize marrige better. However, on the plus side my mum really loves it too.

    @2ndtime: hey!

Its just the e-ring with two thin diamond bands attached. So I think I would just wear it on its own and then switch it up by wearing the wedding band by itself. Otherwise it would look like to many bands lol.

I love it, and think it looks great with all three bands! A girl can never have too many diamonds :)

It's not my personal style, but that doesn't matter one bit. If you like it, that's all that matters! Go for it!

It's not my style (I <3 solitaires) but it's super pretty.  If I saw someone else wearing it I would definitely notice how nice it is.

Wow thanks so much ladies! I didn't want to ask my friends because I wanted my e-ring to be a surprise. So I was totally confused as to getting it or not but everyone has been very helpful! Thanks again, really appreciate it!!

It is totally what ever you love! THat is all that matters. I dont think there is a thing as too many diamonds either.

My sister has a "3 stone" ring like this one as her engagment ring. She says now she would have picked something different bc it reminds her more of anniversay ring than an engagment ring. Since it is supposed to represnet past/present/future. I think she is werid though and just wants a bigger ring, haha.

That ROCKS! (no pun intended)  PP's are correct: if YOU love it, that's all that matters. I am in LOVE with big rings. And yours is similar to mine in that there is a large stone(s) and rows of diamonds.`

    Mine for reference-

I'm not really a fan of 3 stone rings, and like a solitaire with pave band more, so thats just personal taste.  But as far as too many diamonds??  Not at all!  I love the symmetry of the set.

It has a bit too much going on for my style, but I am a solitaire girl so I would think so.  It is pretty, just too much going on for me.

I would be sure to try it on in person first. You might love something online but hate it in person. It's beautiful!

Love it! If you love bling, you gotta go for a ring with lots of diamonds!

It's going to be on your hand for the rest of your life, so you need to love it. Frankly, I think it's gorgeous Smile

I'm not a fan. I think the center stone should be a bit larger in proportion.

I think it is very pretty! However I would have mine filthy looking within a week. If you aren't as hard on things as me I say it is perfect!
