I am just not feeling it. They are really missing something. What, I don’t know, but I think it’s too plain as is.

I’m really not a fan. If you’re set on non-floral centerpieces, look into birdcages or lanterns instead. I’m not having very many flowers as part of my centerpieces. My FI and I are having vintage, hardcover books with tea pots on top, a small frame with the table numbers/names, and candles. I am still deciding on whether or not we’re going to have blush roses in the tea pots or not.

Going sans flowers is possible, but the pictures above are kind of sparse and not really fitting for a wedding. This is just my personal preference, though, and I always gravitate away from water and candles in glass vases/glasses.

I agree with PP candles or birdcages or books… anything but this 🙁 sorry it is just not appealing

If you are trying to avoid the high cost of floral centerpieces, or just want candles, I would do something simple, like a cylinder vase from Dollar Tree with a pillar candle or a floating candle.

What about bases instead of wine glasses? We did the dollar store diy faux hurricane vases, and put the same sort of  rocks and candles you’re thinking about.
