My wedding is July 7, 2012. 2 of my bridesmaids are event planners and already have CRAZY busy schedules in the month of May & June 2012, and there’s also Mother’s day and Memorial day weekend in there (plus my + FHs birthdays too!)
In your opinion, is April 28th or 29th way too early to have my bridal shower?

Oh, and my bachelorette is in June, if that makes any difference. Thanks!

I don’t think so. People will probably appreciate you picking a less-busy time, since that’s always the case for everyone during May and June.

Not at all. My shower was in November and my wedding isn’t until March. I wanted it to be a surprise and if it were in the New Year I would of definitely figured it out. I think April is fine for a July wedding. Also agree with abbie about people appreciating it being a less busy time…

No way! Sounds like it would be much appreciated by your bridesmaids and probably most of your shower guests too.

I think you’re good! My wedding is in May, but my shower will probably be in Feb due to time contraints. I’m sure everyone will be just fine with it and will appreciate you’re taking their schedules into consideration

That’s definitely fine, in fact I prefer showers much earlier, so I don’t have the expense of two gifts right near each other.

I got married on July 16 this year, and my first of three showers was on May 1. Seemed just right. 🙂
