This is my dress, and I’m having second thoughts.
I don’t have a picture of me in it I’m afraid as it’s at my mums. What do you think? Do you think it would benefit from a belt/sash? and what sort of jewellery. I had planned to wear my hair down with flowers in as I like the soft romantic look but I just don’t know anymore.
Honest opinions on the dress please as I still have a few months to change……..

@rushingangel: I really like the straps, but I wish there was a close up of the bodice to see what the detail looks like.

Is there any possibility that you could go to your mother’s house and have a couple of pictures taken? It’s difficult for us to give feedback because we don’t know your bodyshape, height etc.

From what I can see it’s beautiful!

Sorry for the massive, big picture, I nabbed it from the net as I can’t get to my Mums until next week. Will post one of me wearing it then. Here’s the close up. Its satin underlay with a lace layer on top with a few beads throughout. Just……I don’t know…..don’t feel very ‘bridey’ I think.

I think a sash wouldn’t look good because of the beading detail under the bust.
Are you wearing a veil? That may help youheel more “bride-y”.

@mrsromo: actually sitting sewing what feels like billion seed beads onto the edge of my veil. I’ve gone for a 2 tier long shoulder length one, hopefully will fall where the bust detail ends. Although I have been offered my Aunties as well which is Cathedral length with embroidery, going to see it on Thursday, I just don’t know if it will feel too much as it’s a fairly casual wedding.
Having veil vs hair garland issues too.
Will have to get to my mums and take a photo. I actually haven’t seen a picture of myself in it!!

I think that dress is lovely and I second the thought of the veil making you feel more bridal!
