This month I’ve started doing ovulation tests.
The first few there was no test line at all, only the control line. The past couple the test line is very light. The instructions say that it’s not “postive” until the test line is as dark or darker than the control line; I get that.
I was just wondering if the faint line starting to show up indicates I’m getting closer to a postive, or just a difference between individual tests (all the same brand & from the same package).

With the two line tests, I always got a “fade in” before O and “fade out” pattern after O. My “positive” tests never had two equally dark control lines (but when I thought the test was positive, I always confirmed with a digital test). I’m now 5 wks preggo, so the fact that my control line was always darker than my test line doesn’t seem to matter : )

I get a fade in and fade out as well. I got a very strong line last night, probably the darkest I’ve ever seen but it still wasn’t quite as dark as the control line.
I tried again this morning and it was definitely lighter. Here’s hoping that last night was the actual time I ovulated.
I’m not sure if I don’t see dark lines because my urine is too dilute. I drink a lot of water and when I tested on Sunday afternoon I noticed that my urine was practically clear.
Now that I’m fading again, is it too late to BD one more time? We DTD on Sunday afternoon.

I should add that I also had a really hard time holding my pee for more than a few hours.
Definitely not too late to BD again – remember that you ovulate 12-36 hrs AFTER your positive OPK.

I had a fade in, and once I got the lines to be the same color, I stopped testing because I could NOT hold my pee that long. And we BD’d the day it peaked, and 3 days later, not sure which one resulted in the BFP though.

Well, we DTD right a few hours before I saw the peak and we can try tonight and tomorrow night too, but I think he’s really getting tired of this. If it doesn’t work next month I think I’ll start the BD’ing until a little closer to the O-time since I know it’s happening a little later than the My Days app predicted. My cycle is getting longer as I get farther away from being on the pill. the first couple months it was 29 days and last month it was 31 days. Before I went on the pill it was pretty eratic but always within normal ranges.
