I haven't been able to get on this site lately because I have been really busy with work but I just wanted to say that I hope all of the TTC/Charter bees are doing well.

We have been TTC since August and my cycles have been all over the place. I have been using the cheap OPK's but this month I bought the digitals so that the test would compare it to my own levels instead of the control level in case I ovulated this month. This is my second cycle charting and it looks great. I actually had a baseline and a temperature rise that has been consistent for 4 days now! But I took OPK's every day and never got a +. I know that your surge can be short but I thought digital tests that measure you from day to day were supposed to try to avoid that. Any idea how this happened?

If I o'd then it would be a 40 cycle, and my shortest has been 47 days, so I'll be keeping my fingers crossed. Luckily DH and I did a lot of BDing right before the charts so I ovulated.

@roxy821:  Trust the temp rise because that's really never wrong.  OPKs have to be timed right so it's totally possible that you missed it.  That's the very reason I quit using OPKs

My temps and opk's don't exactly match up either, and fertility friend based my ovulation day closer to my opk results.

@Mrs Green Grass- Ok. I changed my charts to just focus on the temperature and it looks like a clear ovulation. But I have become so frustrated with the OPK's. Trying to hold it an not drinking for 4 hours and making sure you can POAS at the same time day after day isn't so fun especially when you never get a +.

@roxy821:  Some women never get positive OPKs. Temperature is more reliable if you want to know whether or not you Oed. YAY! Good luck this cycle!

@bunny- I was just hoping to be able to time BD since my cycles are all over the place and even though I haven't O'd in the past 4 cycles and they have been anywhere up to 52 days, if I did O I didn't want to miss it. Thanks.
