    Hey ladies,

My wedding is on Feb 15th. I wanted orange flowers for my bouquet. Originally, I had to change the type of flowers I wanted becuase my florist couldnt get them in that time of year. After not hearing from the florist in a month, she is now telling me she cannot find ANY orange flowers.

Is this possible? Im stressed to the max about this.

My wedding is Jan 24. I'm using orange flowers including ranunculus, roses, and tulips. They all are available in season.

Hmm.  That's no fun.  I originally wanted an all-orange bouquet for my May 08 wedding, and ended up with green and orange.  In any case, I fell in love with orange mini calla lilies--for pictures, and pricing, see

They are often imported, and always a bit pricey, but if you're really really really wanting orange, think about them.

Also, certain orange roses are stunning, and available year-round.

I'm also using orange lilies in January. Your florist should be able to get those and roses with no problem. Good luck!

I agree, the florist shouldn't have a hard time finding orange flowers...but if she really can't find them you should probably go with another color close to it

A florist not able to find ANY orange flowers???  That's a little odd to me bc no matter what flowers you want, most come in Orange.  I would ask your florist again and insist that you NEED orange.  Be persistent!!!

     Good luck!  =)

I'm doing orange flowers as well. I visited quite a few florists & checked online and found that orange flowers (orange cymbidiums & callas) do costs a little more...But if all else fails, orange roses are abundant and year round. Other orange flowers we are incorporating into our March wedding are dahlias (if my florists can get them), ranunculus, and mokara orchids.

I'm planning on orange gerbera daisies and roses.  My wedding is in June 09', but both are supposed to be available year round (and from what i've heard, the gerbera daisies are pretty cheap).  Not sure if that's the look you're going for, but it is an orange flower.
