At my outdoor wedding reception in San Diego, my guest tables are small rectangles created by pushing together two small 3′ X 3′ squares to form 6 tops. My reception location is on the beach and part of the courtyard, which has sand is where my guest tables will be. I am wondering if I should do a trio of subermed orchids in the middle of these rectangular tables or one single sumberged orchid on the center of each square (so each rectanglular table has two cylinders, one on each center). I want to do the trio but I am worried that because there is a seam in the middle of the table from pushing these smaller tables together, the centerpiece may be at greater risk for tipping over?? Keep in mind the tables are in the sand. Any advice would be great! thanks!
