If you buy orchid blooms you can thread them onto string- like a lei (you can use needle if you like). If you want space in between them, tie knots in your string to stop them from slipping. If that doesn't work, run to your local craft store and buy some small clear beads- this will help make the knot bigger and no one will be able to see them
I have done this for a few weddings. you take the head of an orchid and I used fishing line... you attach a needle and you thread the orchid on the line. I didnt have to use any beads or anything because the orchids held on to the thicker line that i used.

Anyone know how to make hanging orchids? I've seen this done before in a wedding where the orchids are hanging from a clear string and its hanging above the dance floor. Does anyone know what i'm talking about? Thanks ladies!!
