So, after posting if I was being ripped off on invites, I was able to come to the conclusion that I was being ripped off for my invites and stationary with a $1800 price tag! So, I found a great design I love but, can’t decide if I should order from the company already assembled ($800) or order the PDF and have it printed elsewhere ($300). I know its a big difference in price however, I’m afraid
A. It won’t come out as its pictured originally
B. Could potentially end up costing just as much having it printed somewhere else?
C. I guess there’s some piece of mind having it all together after FI and I diy’ed the STD and he about died after stamping the 60th envelope, haha!
What do you think ladies?

Why don’t you try to get it priced or quoted? I live by CatPrint – we used them for our STD postcards and again for our invite inserts (RSVP and rehearsal dinner card). I would say I was very pleased with the printing quality. Of the one inserts had a solid grey background, that was I concerned about (in terms for printing quality), but it actually came our really well! You can do the quote yourself (custom sizes, etc) and see how much each thing cost. It was also really affordable! We choose their 118lb cotton cardstock (almost like letterpress paper) and for 120 RSVP cards, it was about $45.
We loved their printing so much that we are going to do another order for our thank-you cards (they can do “folding” as a finish) to get a solid grey background invite.
Also, you can request for a wedding samples package or a proof of your printing sent before you order the whole thing.
