I ordered mine on vistaprint.com and they are amazing. The paper is a touch lighter than I really wanted but I knew that when I ordered. There is another post earlier about their great customer service. They are exactly the way I wanted them to look, I did corner punch all the corners to add that little touch to them. They turned out exactly like they look in the digital proof.

My online experience has been wonderful! I ordered our invitations through an Etsy store. This has been the best decision for me as she has sent me a sample to see the color, design, and paper quality. With the first sample, one of the colors did not appear true to the picture online, so she sent me another sample after adjusting her printer settings. I have been heavily involved in every aspect of the invitations, by sending the invitation and RSVP wording, as well as the addresses (she is printing them on for me). I was able to proof the invitations before printing to make sure there were not any errors. They are in the printing process now!
I hope that helps!
Here are my invites! http://www.etsy.com/listing/56543858/wedding-invitation-suite-ashleigh
@MrsTrigger: I loved them, especially since they were $30 for 100. I have already started to get alot of compliments on them and they just started going out.
@MSomar: I used MagnetStreet for my Save-the-Dates. I was happy overall, but I did notice that the colors on the screen interacted differently online than in person. My SODs are adorable, but some of the wording is difficult to read.
@MrsTrigger: You could definitely ask them to change the font. I had them fix the font, among other things, around 3 times before I finalized the invitations. Then they went straight to processing... so easy :) Since you ordered your STD from them, I know you are more than likely receiving coupon codes almost every week. They are good at that... that helped reel me in. :) Don't forget to ask for them to send samples... Best of luck!
I also loved Wedding Paper Diva, and was able to order 125 invitations for $150 with their discounts! :)
@pengoala: Nice! With two happy gals, I think I'll check them out :)
@MrsTrigger: Thank you! I think so too!! :) Wedding Paper Divas was next on my list. Best of luck!
I ordered from www.vponsale.com and had a great experience. I don't think you could get a better deal either... it's $1 per invitation and that includes envelope, response card, response card envelope. You can customize the colors and they have a lot of great designs. They send proofs before printing and they are printed and sent very quickly. There was an error on my response card envelopes and they sent me new ones right away no questions asked. HIGHLY recommend, I saved a fortune and so many people have told me how beautiful the invitations are. :)
I ordered mine from Rexcraft (or Bed, Bath & Beyond - they've since merged, or something like that). Very reasonable price and I like them. I ordered simple invitations but was very pleased.
I'm doing STDs with Vistaprint... super cheap. like 62 bucks for 100 of them... and they are cute.
For my invitations I am going with anns bridal bargains. I am doing the cheapest one, and when they get here, i will personalize each one.
I am on a tight budget though. I have a website and some people have already RSVP'd they will not get a STD but I will still send an invitation:)
I was very happy with http://www.annsbridalbargains.com/index.jsp
Love Ping for invites and STD !
You can order STD cards and wedding invites and keep track of RSVP's online!
My fiance and I are very big on an "eco wedding" and was able to email a tasteful STD cards. We have guest who do not have email so I was able to send an actual card through Ping...
Get this: You enter your guests address and they mail it for you plus postage.. SOOOO convenient!
As for the wedding invites: I will order them on Ping and then send them out all postal to my guest.. My guest just get online and RSVP that way. Instead of extra waste and postage from those RSVP cards! Hope this helps!

So the time has come to select and order invitations. I can't decide if purchasing them in a store would be best, or ordering them online. I used to work for a Hallmark and when we received an order in-store, we just ordered them from someone online anyway, so I'm not entirely convinced the quality is different.
Reasons for ordering in-store: I can look and feel the invitations and know exactly what the color, paper, weight, and size of the invite looks like in my hands; if something gets messed up, the store can fix it; support local business. Cons might be limited selection, pressured to go with certain invitations (because they are more expensive), and the cost is more.
Reasons for ordering online: Likely cheaper (I am constantly getting things in the mail with promo codes, free shipping, etc. on invitations), virtually unlimited selection, no-pressure shopping. Cons are that I can't physically see the invitation and it might look a whole lot better online, sending them back would be a hassle if something is messed up, there is no customer service (for example, someone to recommend certain wording or etiquette), and WHAT IF they don't come on time?
What do you all think? Anyone ordered invitations online? How was the experience? Any recommendations for good sites? THANKS! <3
