Wedding date! Then he'll never forget. Hahaha. Something short like: I love you, always and forever, you are my life or Today, tomorrow, always. They sound cheesy but they are true.
Just got the finished band today, engraved with our first names (separated by a heart!) followed by our wedding date. It looks really cute. We went with printing instead of cursive. It depends how creative you want to be... I saw a picture of ones that said "soul mates" and it looked really nice, too. Have fun choosing! :)
I think we're getting "two against the world" which is something we always say to each other.
We're going to wait and see if we want to. We didn't want to rush our decision. We may do it for our 1 year =] He thinks all my ideas are cheesy. I wanted one to say "fly me to the moon" and the other to say "let me play amongst the stars" but he's all "ewww" about it. Whatev! I also think we might use lyrics from our first dance since it takes us way back when. Hm. I might just do it and let him fgure it out for himself =]
We just decided to do something engraved but its special to us - splitting up a line from "our song"
Hm... we weren't going to do anything, but I like the idea of putting the wedding date there so it's impossible to forget.
I love the idea of having his name on mine and my name on his, and maybe the wedding date.
I am putting "soul mates" and then under that 2,568 which is the amount of miles I flew and traveled to accidentally stumbel upon him during my vacation.
His says "To have and to hold 7.3.09" Mine says "SS 2:16a 7.3.09" which says "I belong to my lover and my lover to me."
what about a phrase from the first dance song? the FI and i haven't put too much thought into it just yet, as we have yet to purchase our rings!
I'm having the same trouble! I'm trying to decide between "come what may" and "here is my heart". He thinks "put it back on!" is funny..but I want something romantic, not silly...
I found a lot of inspiration in books and song lyrics. Something will pop out at you!
