i also wanted to note that although i have only posted once it is because i wanted to add my expencise to weddingbee because there were people wondering about peridress and that my post is true as i said i can show photos of the dress that i recieved if people wanted
A friend of mine ordered a sample BM dress just to "check on quality". It came in looking adorable! Very simple halter black long gowns with a sash. Nothing too crazy fancy
We ordered the rest of ours. The pics of the one we already got in are on my work computer.
I have a lot more than 1 post, LoL. I'm always skeptical when I see posts regarding these foreign companies and their english is less than excellent like those other posters...makes me wonder if it's a competition thing. 1 post always looks fishy to me.
i am regretting putting anything on this site trying to be helping to tell people of my experience and the was people wondering if anyone had order from peridress and if so how was it i am going to try to post pics on here so that you know that even though i only have 3 post now it is not fishy or suspect !!!!!!!
okay i just figured out the pics side of things and this is the dress that peridress made the original dress is ella bridals style 5243.

Everyone here just likes to look out for the wellfare of all of our brides. If you truely had a wonderful experience, then we congradulate you. We can't wait to hear about the rest of your wedding planning, which we'll see in future posts.
We are cautious with Peridress because there have been so many extremely bad experiences talked about in posts on this site, so we have our feelers out.

yeah i totally understand i was exactly the same i read all post i could find but in the end i decided to give it a go and cross my fingers and hope that it all worked out . which i am grateful that is did i will being posting more post on here cause i have been reading all the topics and people out there some many great ideas and tips is great but i just wanted to post that is there are people that have had great experiences with peridress .

It looks nice! Nothing a seamstress can't handle! Here are pics of the BM dress we're getting. I get the feeling these sites are very hit and miss. I hope all 5 more of our dresses arrive well! I told them to add 5 inches to the length. If it's all short and dorky looking on me I'm gonna look silly!
the dress looks lovely are the other ones getting made longer? can you take down them hem on this dress to maybe make it abit longer for you but i think it looks really nice :) yeah i i agree with i think it is hit and miss from what i have read it seems that all people that have order simple dresses have had no problem ( mine was simple in the design not much to it) but the people that have order the harder dresses have been having trouble .
Yeah, this one is for a girl who is 5'7". I am 6 feet tall in my short heels, though. The other ones are all being made the normal length...i'm just taller than the average chick. If I have to, I'll switch to flats or add a row of black material to the bottom. NObody'll notice unless you're super close to the hem of my dress. I planned on removing the ribbon and shortening the hem after her wedding anyways, just so i can get more wear out of it. I'm not sure how much material is leftover in the waist to drop it down a ltitle...but that's definitely a viable option. I can always add black to the bottom. If it was any other color, it would look awful to do that!
I agree, I think simple is the way to go with these companies. Anything elaborate or lacy or expensive, I think goign with a pro seamstress that you can see and feel and talk to is the best way to go.
sounds like you have got your dress sorted it will look great !!!!!!!! something can always be done to sort it out which is good. yeah i think that if my dress was a elaborate one i would not of even thought about ordering online based on that fact you need to explain so much to the seamstress in regards to detail and stuff i looking at getting my BM'S dresses of them as well they are basic halter dress with some diamentes so should hopefully be no dramas good luck with the wedding

I don't like it when ppl negate your review or feedback because of the low posts. I'm a "newbee" too, so I understand - u have to start somewhere and not all of us have the time to post a gazillion msges.

I think everyone's reviews are taken into account, it just seems fishy when someone appears out of nowhere to give a rave review and then vanishes again.

DO NOT ODER FROM PERIDRESS. They stole my personal wedding photos of my authentic designer dress and used on their site to sell their knockoffs. It's incredible the lack of integrity and scammers in the bridal business. I have requested they take my pictures down, they agreed but my pictures remain up- I am getting a response that it will take 2 weeks to do something that can be done in one minute.
While I'm not saying they will scam you or I can attest to their quality, would you really want to take a chance with a company like this? Or support a company like this?
DO NOT order a dress from this site! I know that the prices are amazing, but the product is terrible. And the service even worse! BUT I found out HOW TO GET YOUR MONEY BACK and I have to share it with everyone since they scam so many people.
My dress came in the wrong style, wrong material, wrong color, and wrong size. Peridress refused to give me a refund authorization after numerous phone conversations, emails, and live chats. I found a ZILLION complaints about the company and one bride recommended to contact Paypal since that is their form of payment. Unfortunately, Paypal has a 45 day time frame to dispute charges (they will FREEZE or CANCEL the charge if you contact them within 45 days) But I filed a dispute claim with them anyway since any complaints against Peridress are bad for their company so hopefully soon they will refuse to work with them soon.
Paypal then suggested that I contact the card company that I used to make the purchase since they usually have longer time periods to dispute a charge. And THANK GOODNESS Wells Fargo has taken my claim and is in the process of canceling the charge. Please contact your banks and card companies if you want your money back, they tend to have months to work with you on your dispute. But my advice in the end is to not order from Peridress EVER!
Someone please help me out! Has anyone ordered the Allure Couture C170 off of Peridress.com ? If so please post a picture of it so i dont make a mistake and lose out money.......

I purchased my mother of the groom dress from peridress and was SOOOOO dissappointed. Lucky I paid through paypal and put in a dispute as i wasn't getting anywhere with the company. They said they could never be expected to copy 100%!! Buyer beware.

well just thought i would post on here cause prior to odereding from peridress i checked all blogs and forums i could find to help me out so this is my story with a happy ending :)
i recieved my dress and it is beautiful not excatly the same as the picture but i expected that, it does need to pressed and a few alterations done to it like taken in cause it is a bit to big ( but better big than small i reckon) and the original dress had a corest back on where this dress is a zipper so i want to get a correst back out in to it. And the original dress had more sequins on the train and it cliped up on the back so that you could pull up the train which is fine i can have that added to i kinda thought that the back would be heaps different as there was only a picture of the front on the website not the back but i am still happy with the overall look of it. I also oreded the veil which is basically just a piece of material so pretty usless as a veil but on 3 dollars so not gonna complain about that. It did arrive in a plastic evevolope but was nicely folded and shipping time from when i received my tracking number it was 5 days to arrive in australia so i thought that was pretty good timing so overall i am happy with the service and communication with them i oredered on the 27/2/09 and received 30/3/09 so just over 1 month to be made and shipped so pretty good job.
the original dress is Ella bridals 5243.

Please note that i have taken in to a dress maker is she did state that it was made good and the alteration the i want done are easy to do. so with ordering from peridress and paying a adress maker i am still saving over $1000 so i really could not argue.
