I love the bands, but I AM SO IN LOVE WITH YOUR RING!! I almost picked out once like it!
@love108: Thanks! The ring belonged to his grandmother, and it has been hard trying to find a band that worked with it. Everything else looked way too modern with it and took away from the details. I was so happy to finally find something that worked, I wanted to kiss the sales woman!
@b00kbug: I'm not engaged yet, but mine is platinum, too, and yeah,... I hope I can find one that works!
@love108: My angagement ring is platinum also, but the wedding band is white gold. I originally wanted a platinum band - but when I saw the prices I quickly changed my mind!!
@b00kbug: Are you worried about the different metals rubbing? I thought maybe since even modern platinum alloys are different from the plat iridium of the past, I'd have to find an antique band, too!

@love108: Hmm, honestly I hadn't thought of that! I just know that it would have been impossible for me to find a platinum band that wasn't plain and that I could afford!

I am so in love with mine! I have been searching for a while to find something that went with my antique engagement ring, and finally found something that seems to make the unique band stand out more rathe than take away from it. So happy! I want to wear it NOW, but FI has reminded me a few times already that I have to wait till we are actually married.....details, details... :)
