I’d say go for it. I would much rather lose out on 10-20 dollars than $100 (just in case you’re not satisfied with it). Or who knows it may turn out to be perfect for you and oh boy what a score that would be!

A whale of a deal! I’ve ordered stuff from etsy and been mostly happy. The only thing tha worries me about etsy is EVERYONE has good reviews. Ever notice that? But even if you pay $11 and you don’t like it, then you only lost $11. You know?

Looks good to me if it’s just a simple veil. You may want to ask if it is bridal tulle since I ordered a lace bolero from China that didn’t specify and the tulle they used was very scratchy – more like tutu fabric.

I just got my etsy veil in and I love it (obviously from asia but storefront is Oregon), amazing price for something similar to ones in store for $450: https://www.etsy.com/transaction/183866515?ref=fb2_tnx_title

MsGinkgo:  I ordered my veil from the seller ABusyMother. I think I paid $45 after shipping. Great quality and prices! She’ll also custom make anything you want. I recommend her 🙂

MsGinkgo:  Do not order from this shop. A good number of the veils that’s listed in her shop are not her veils. I have a veil shop on etsy and I stumbled upon a picture of a bride that I made a veil for about 3 years ago. This shop copied my bride’s pic, put HER watermark on it and listed it as hers…..even named it the same. She may do beautiful work but I wouldn’t order from a shop that did crap like that that. PP mentioned abusymother, she’s good….you can’t go wrong with her….There’s several other shops on etsy I could recommend. I’m not here to peddle my shop – just trying to warn you against the shop you mentioned.

MsGinkgo:  I bought mine from Melinda Rose Design on Etsy. The price was so reasonable, and the fabric was really high quality. It looks so good in photos – floaty, not too sheer, great color.

Oops – just saw that you’re in Canada…..so shipping wouor cost you as much if not more than the actual veil is.

go for it! Veil’s are sooooo ridiculously over priced! Anyone who can sewn can make a veil so that’s probably why it’s so cheap. My mom made my veil for $15

MsGinkgo:  If all you want is a simple cut edge veil and you’re even a tiny bit crafty, it’s easy….and if you need help or have any questions, let me know.

Lots of people have success ordering from China/Hong Kong, but the stress and hassle just isn’t worth it to me.  Have you checked out this store on Etsy? https://www.etsy.com/ca/shop/ParisienneLuxe  .  I didn’t end up buying from this store so I can’t vouch for them, but I think the peace of mind you get from dealing with a Canadian seller is worth a little extra money.  Good luck!
