Oh I'll post!
I'm 25, FI is also 25. We met when we were 18 and in college and started dating a week later, broke up right after college because we weren't ready to get married yet (SUPER hard reason to break up with someone when everything else is great!). He lived on the East Coast while we were apart, and then moved back to Oregon a year later. We met up and pretty much instantly realized we wanted to be together. Now we've been living together about a year and a half, planning a wedding next September (it was initially August but FI will be in school over the summer so we pushed it back to the break!). We have an adorable puppy that we got a few months after we moved in together (she's 3 1/2 now, so I guess we never technically owned her as a puppy *sad face* but she is still a puppy to me!), and are planning an outdoor garden wedding!
I'm a hospital nurse, and FI is currently an assistant winemaker but is planning to go back to school for his medical degree. We both already have degrees- mine in Spanish & French, his in philosophy with a minor in German and business (he's an eclectic guy!). I'm very excited to be married to him, he's my absolute best friend and we complement each other so well.

i am 21 and FI is 26 (yeah i know im a grave robber). we have an amazing 1 year old son! we just moved to Eugene and i am so excited aobut it. we have 2 fat lazy cats and 2 quirky roomates. and hopefully soon 2 fat rats :)
we are still planning on what we exactly want for our wedding. really seriously thinking of the oregon coast aquarium so hopefully thatp lays out to our liking. our backup place being the imagination gardens here is their link.

I'm 24 and DH is 25. We recently moved from GA to Oregon August 1st (we left 6 days after our wedding) Upon arrival...we were told we were Ducks fans...so, Go Ducks! We live in Beaverton, but I work in downtown Portland and DH works just within the city limits. We're loving it so far! Any winter weather essentials I need to stock up on?
We have 3 furbabies. Two cats, Edison and Callaway and a dog, Broderick. I think we're going to be getting a puppy next month. We're headed to the Dalles this weekend to meet with a breeder! Ahhhh.

I'm 27 and FI is 28. We moved to Eugene from San Diego a little over 2 years ago. I consider myself an Oregon bee, even though we are having our wedding next July in San Diego to make it easier on our families. We've been together 6 years and have a 3 years old black standard poodle. I love Oregon! We moved here because it was beautiful and affordable, and I know we made the right choice. Sometimes we entertain the idea of moving to Portland because there is so much to do. Happy planning, Oregon Bees!

Ooh so glad you started this MsPanda. I am 20 and my SO is 21 we arn't engaged yet but are currently looking at rings and he says by next March we will be engaged. (Yah!!). We moved to Eugene a year ago from Northern CA. I transferred to University of Oregon and he followed me. I am currently going to school for Psychology/Sociology and my SO is working full-time until he can finish taking his paramedic and get on with Eugene Fire Department. So far I love it up here. I love that it hardly snows and that it rains all through winter. Plus Florence is only an hour drive from Eugene. SO and I take trips to Florence all the time.
My WB screen name doesn't really have any meaning behind it it is my name and the first letter of my last name plus the year I graduated with my Associates Degree.
We have a fur baby as well. He is a 3 year old yellow labrador and his name is Duke. We do everything with this guy and boy does he sure know how to keep us entertained!!! Here's a picture of him:
Hi! I didn't even know there were local forums until today, so I'm basically posting all over everything (sorry). I'm 26, fiance is 28. I just graduated from law school (I'm not sure if you can still say "just" when it was like 6 months ago), so I'm looking for work currently. We're getting married in June and I am the worst wedding planner of all time. Colors are hard for me, decorations are hard for me, flowers are hard for me ... you get the point. So my fiance is holding up a little more than his fair share of the planning. Nice to meet you all!

I'm new to Oregon. Moved here early this year to be with my SO after doing the long distance thing. I'm loving it.
He's 24 and I'm 29. Not engaged just yet.... but the ring is being made and there might be a proposal before the end of the year ;) And we've discussed a wedding late next summer here in Central Oregon.

I'm 29, FI is 32, we've been dating for almost 8 year and have been engaged since October. I work in Salem and live in SE Portland, FI is a new attorney and I'm an accountant. We're getting married in January at the East Moreland Golf Course.
We have a beautiful bulldog boy so I'm happy we're posting puppy pictures, here's my little fella, the picture is from my proposal, he greeted me at the door when I came home with a bow around his neck and my ring tied to it.
This is so great! I didnt realize there was an Oregon section. Im 22 fh is 23. We're high school sweethearts, just celebrated our 5th anniversary yday. We moved up to the Ashland/Medford area from Oakland a yr and a half ago to go to Southern Oregon University. My mom is from India and my dad is white. FH is African American..so we are having a fusion wedding with cultural elements from both of our heritage. We're getting married on a gorgeous ranch, and luckily we both really like the vintage/rustic look so our smallish budget isnt going to ruin any dreams of a fancy wedding!! Ooh and we have two puppies and a kitten, all under 7 months old...so with that and all of the wedding related hoarding Im doing, our apt is a little nutty right now
Well, I guess I should introduce myself too. I am a 26 year old graduate student studying fisheries biology. My significant other is also a fish biologist and avid homebrewer. Although I'm living in Montana right now, i am an Oregonian through and through (born and raised in Ashland, went to college at Willamette). We are planning our wedding at Crater Lake National Park, where we both met 7 years ago.
Planning from so far away is hard, but luckily we are pretty low key people and planning a weekend campout/hiking wedding for our families. Yup, I will be hiking up a mountain in a wedding dress to get to the ceremony.
Glad to see some other OR brides on here- I may need advice since I am planning from 1000 miles away!

Hi fellow Oregon Bees! Miss Oregon here... I am 29 and my FI is 30. We have been together now for 12 going on 13 years in April. We live and work (mostly) in SW Portland. We are both UO Alumni (Yeah Rosebowl!) and can't wait to start this next chapter of our lives together.
As with Ms.Oregon.State, we are also getting married at the Crystal Ballroom in downtown Portland, and like Ms. Panda, our wedding date is also August 18, 2012.
And, of course, this is our "puppy of honor," Lucy :)

Hey ladies! My name is Halsey. Yes, like the street and yes, like the town. I'm 21, FI is 25.
I'm originally from Aloha, moved away when I was 3, lived in about 8 different states, and I just moved back in August of 2010 to Beaverton. Then I met FI and now I live in St Helens! It's so great to be home :)
Fi and I met together just a few weeks after I moved to Beaverton, and we moved in together immediately due to a few circumstances with my then roommate. Thankfully everything worked out and we have been inseperable ever since!
I am a graphic designer and do wedding invitations, business stuff, etc. FI works for the Portland Water Bureau and does physical labor.
We have two fur kids, Milo and Chloe. (see pics) We are getting married on August 4 of 2013 in Newport, and I can't WAIT!

Once again to attempt to get some posts on this board I am going to start another post! (COME ON OREGON BEES)
So Post a little intro about yourself I will start!
I am 22 and so is my Fi we have 2 daughters ages 2 and 4 1/2 (yes I know I had my kids really young) we are planning getting married August 18th 2012. I am a stay at home mom (the hardest most rewarding job i could ask for) while going to school for Human and family services and Social work.
My WB name is MsPanda because Fi calls Me Shanda Panda (yes my name is Shanda) Plus Pandas are my favorite animals! I am planning a fun semi casual wedding that is full of bright colors and unexpected touches. Such as instead of a coctail hour we are having a snow cone hour (with the option of having a "adult" snow cone) We are going back and forth between 2 venues A adorable little chapel and my aunts back yard. Both are so pretty and have enough room for our guest list. But my aunts is Free!!! Giving her back yard the edge!
So I am looking forward to reading all of the other Oregon Bees intros (PLEASE SOMEONE POST!)
