Is it so incredibly dorky that I'm excited that the original Teen Moms are back next month? I've missed them!
Really? This is the first I've heard and I'm stoked!! :) Are they just re-airing the old shows or catching up with the moms??
No it's all new episodes starting on July 5!
In the preview, I saw something about Derek not being Sophia's father.

@MissAsB: Whaaaa??? I thought the DNA results were like 99.9% based on the DNA sample his sister gave!

@KatyElle: I just caught the clip really quick and it said something about Social Security saying that he wasn't the dad and her crying.
I was hoping the preview on MTV would show that but they must be airing different ones on MTV right now.
I was very surprised to see that Amber will be on this season again. I thought for sure if she was they would be filming it from her jail cell, lol. But I guess they didn't show any of that.
As far as Ferrah, I thought when they did the original DNA test on the baby they said it was Derrek's? I'm so confused now..
But I'm so pumped!
I have a feeling MTV is purposely showing that Farrah situation out of context...maybe Social Security gave her a hard time because the DNA didn't come from the actual father, and instead a relative? But MTV is making it sound like that means he was NOT the father. We'll see.
@SweetRose2011: I think the reason why Amber isn't in jail is because these were filmed quite a while ago since they were doing Teen Mom 2. They did show Gary and Leah in bed and a voice over saying that she was taken away by the police.
@MissAsB:Oopps. I made that post before I watched the trailer in full. You are right though, it looks like they will be dealing with her being arrested. I just know Gary is a much better person for that baby (not much better but out of the two of them..)
I am really over Amber and Gary. This is all we ever see from them:

I am actually really bummed that they are back, I am tired of the 4 of them and want to see new teen moms.

I havent seen the trailer for this season, but Derrick HAS to be Sophia's dad. She is the spitting image of him!

Eh, I loved Teen Mom 2, but I could never get into the original shows :/
I am so excited for this season! I have to say, the last couple of clips make it seem like it'll be entertaining with the kids, at least. With Sophia unrolling all the TP and Bentley with the peeing. LOL.
What's even more dorky is my husband texted me this news last week and then said "I hope Macy is doing well" then a like a minute later he texted "I can't believe I just said that. I hate you" LOL
I feel like I missed the boat on this show. I never watched it, so now there's no way to catch up, right? Or, does it normally start new each season?

I wish Catelynn and Tyler weren't on this season. They are not teen parents anymore, and their story is so boring. They did a tremendous thing giving up their daughter for adoption but their story has played out and it's over. I know they have so many devoted fans but they're just so dull.
@mwitter80: I think they're great as a couple and I would love to watch them in mtv's new show 'young and married' (or whatever it's called) if they end up getting married but I don't like them on Teen Mom anymore. It's like, I watch Teen Mom for the babies and the drama but they don't have a baby or drama - other than Caitlynn's parents. I also feel like the last episode had great closure with them seeing Carly and everything. It felt like the end of their Teen Mom story.
I know so many people disagree with me, but I don't think they should be on the show anymore.
I can't wait! I loved these teen moms, and am happy that they are doing another season
Yay! I'm so excited! And the kids will be so cute to watch now that they are a little older.
@Gingersnap: I agree with you. I like Catelynn and Tyler as a couple but I feel like their story as teen parents for Teen Mom should have wrapped up with them going to visit Carly at the end of last season.
I'm so excited too. If I remember reading the gossip blogs last summer, Gary & Amber were filmed on vacation when the charges were being brought against her when the episodes aired (last summer). I'm pretty sure we'll see the fallout from the charges. I can't wait. What's even funnier is that Gary now has a clothing company with some lame t-shirts!
Eeeee I'm so excited! I love the original Teen Mom so much (: (: I'm pretty sure this will be Maci's last season. She said on Dr. Oz (I think) that she couldn't wait to be done with MTV and having cameras always following her. It's too bad because she's my favourite.
