I’m honeymooning in Orlando due to a generous timeshare gift too from my mother. πŸ™‚ I’m also looking for suggestions, but currently, other than the things to do at the resort (Marriott’s Cypress Harbour) and of course the theme parks, I am not sure what to do! I am looking for some inexpensive things to do that aren’t far because, since we are both under 25, a rental car would be too pricey. I heard the Harry P Leu Gardens is nice, and I have done some smaller parks like GatorLand in previous visits to Orlando. Any good spa recommendations? Other romantic things? πŸ™‚

City Walk at Universal has some pretty amazing places to eat. Emeril has a restaurant there that is delicious and there is also Margaritaville.

I lived in Orlando for 7 years, but of course, I can’t think of any other places to eat right now. haha

@MsYellowJacket: Oh, and if you guys are into shows, Blue Man Group at Universal and Cirque du Soleil in Downtown Disney are amaaazing! And DisneyQuest is actually pretty fun too if you run into bad weather one day.

@MsYellowJacket: Ooh that’s good to hear! Nope I’ve never been, I normally stay in Daytona Beach when I visit FL and just drive over for a day-trip to Orlando, so it will be nice to spend more time there. πŸ™‚ I’m pretty excited about it!

On the City Walk I’ve been to the Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville restaurant and the Bob Marley one too – both were really good!

I’ve been reading up on TripAdvisor to look into different dinner shows, haha.

@MsYellowJacket: No problem. I can vouch for both shows, they are sooo much fun. Personally, i like BMG the best, but Cirque is beautiful too. We’re big sports fans so we would do all the sports stuff there, but I’ll keep thinking of things and post when I think of more πŸ™‚

@MissMellow: I’m not sure who you were asking but I haven’t gone yet πŸ™ It opened the weekend we moved to Houston so I didn’t want to spend my last weekend standing in crazy lines for it. We’re getting married there though and I’ll be spending the week before hand there and I’m determined to go one day before I get married. lol

@floridabride12: lol I don’t know who I was asking either.  I was wrapped up in Harry Potter πŸ˜€  I don’t think I would have braved the lines either though!
