Weddingbee boards
This has come up a few times and it seems like most of us have all had bad experiences with them...I occassionally go to Justmommies.com but the others that I tried out tended to be very bitchy. I quickly found that some women feel very strongly about their point of views when it comes to children and child birth and they get very emotional when it comes to expressing those opinions.
Good luck checking them out and let us all know if you find one that can even come close to the type of board we have here on Wedding Bee
I agree, Ive searched alot of different sites in the past and come across very mean boards on some of them. I guess Ill just spill my a million questions to Babies on Wedding Bee! Thanx :)
I tried and failed miserably at Baby Center... So I stayed here :D!
I like The Mommy Playbook the most. They are very friendly! I like how everyone is accepted, not some type of gang you have to be mean and have a certain post count before you can add your opinion.
Im def staying here no matter what! I love this site and all the friendly Bee's!
The only other online resource I have found really useful is the local mom boards. I live in NYC and there is one for my neighborhood specifically that I find super helpful - people use it both for local stuff (e.g., peditricians within walking distance, weekly meetups in Central Park) and general mom stuff (thoughts on having a second child). Not sure if all cities have these, but finding a good one is nice - and I look forward to hopefully meeting other moms nearby through it once the time comes!
i wish they had a pregnancybee... lol, a whole site like this one that was for pregnancy! lol.. but i won't go elsewhere anymore due to the snarkiness
Not related, but as I was reading this, it got me thinking that this site should be renamed The Bee or something... there is so much more than weddings now; people come here to wait and all of us married bees stick around.
I use The Bump but the ladies are nice on the local and month boards. The other boards on that site can be pretty snarky.

Does any of you TTC, Prego, or Mommy Bee's use any other Community boards like The Bump or anything? I love Wedding Bee, just curious if there is anything else out there you all use. :)
