@hotpinkbride:  I think babycenter.com or .ca has a forum section? I don’t use anything other than WB or hellobee!

@hotpinkbride:  Oh gosh, I don’t use anything other than here and Hello Bee either! I think the Knot has a nesting board, but I didn’t join because I had a very, very bad experience with their wedding boards. You can try but it is a very judgemental place. Baby Center does have a board and What To Expect might have one as well.

OMG I am so late on Hello Bee!  Maybe because I wasnt expecting to conceive so soon.  Now I feel like I have to catch up.  There goes tomorrows work day.  LOL

I like DC urban moms. They are pretty comical – trending towards, up scale, competitive “smothering” which is entertaining. Oh the horror of having to pick between the $45k elementary school private tuition or the after school Nanny when your a SAHM.

I like “two week wait”… I don’t post much but enjoy doing a lot of reading of the BFP stories, etc.

I’m on BabyandBump, which is a UK site. It’s VERY active, but it always freezes my computer and it is DEPRESSING.

I don’t know if the UK has higher rates of MCs and single mothers, but there’s a LOT of miscarriages on their boards, and even more of Dad leaving Mom during the pregnancy…

Baby Center seems nice, they have forums, but I haven’t been there often enough to really form an opinion!

I look at baby center and the bump through the apps I’ve downloaded but I haven’t really read them a ton. From what I’ve heard through the grape vine, both groups tend to be young mom’s and pretty immature overall regardless of age. So far though I”ve read some interesting threads

I’ve ended up on Babycenter threads a few times through google searches and I swear that reading them makes me actually lose IQ points. I finally started making babycenter jokes and my husband (a nurse practitioner) went there during a slow day at work and ranted at me by text about what he was reading for a solid hour. Hilarious.

I’ve been on JustMommies for years. I love that place. Their due date clubs are the best when you’re pregnant, and I hang out at the Waiting to Concieve board when I’m not TTC 🙂 I really enjoy it there. The ladies are polite and friendly.

Baby center and wte both have boards but I don’t like then as much as WB and hellobee. There’s also like 17000 people on my birth month board so tons of people and you can’t form the same connections with people as you can here.

And mothering.com forums are good too. More on the crunchy side, but really interesting and not crap like babycenter.

…and how have I never heard of Hellobee? I must check it out…

@urchin:  I’m also on JustMommies, same user name as here. 🙂 I did it years ago with a different user name, also.

iVillage has messages boards which are very slow moving for Due Date clubs and TTC.  When I was preggo is 2004 and 2006 they were fast moving.
