@Winterbee: Have you looked into the Courtyard Restaurant? It's beautiful! The website is www.courtyardrestaurant.com and they post the wedding and group menus on their website.
Courtyard restaurant is beautiful. Another one is Sala San Marco on Preston street. Good luck :)
The Courtyard can really only fit 80 people unless you want two separate rooms!
I would look into some of the golf courses. The Marshes has that vintage feel!
Wow! Thank you all for the great tips! We actually booked at the Rideau Tennis Club just off the Vanier Parkway...its a really cute spot! All catered by the RA center. really great prices aswell! The banquet room isn't HUGE by any means..but its perfect for 100 -120 people!

I am getting married in Ottawa and am trying to find a banquet hall for about 150 that isn't going to charge me a fortune! I am getting married in Feb 2011 and don't want to make my guests drive to far in case of bad weather! I'm really looking for something unique...a vintage sort of feel to it...or something very warm and romantic fireplaces that kinda thing...I don't know what my budget is...but Im no millionaire....so the lower the better!! Thanks for the help!!
