Hmmmmm...last time I saw my crazy aunt, she scolded that I should probably work on losing my "spare tire" before I squeeze myself into a wedding dress and marry such a handsome man.
....I'm a size 6-8.

My uncle (who lives 3000 miles away) told my Mom, "We're not coming to the wedding because there will be so much going on during that time that I think we'd rather visit you when things are more calm." Um, ok, so you have no desire to go to the wedding?!?!?!

These comments suck! I am sorry guys! But you definitely make me thank my lucky stars for the fact I only have immediate family in this country!
Wow, those comments really do stink! I don't think I have had any of those comments but I am sure I will. There are definitely a few family members without filters in my family alone. <sigh>
This wasn't at my wedding, but I feel that it would apply to this post.
I was at my dad's funeral and my mom asked, "Are you wearing a new dress?" "Yes, I had to buy one because I wasn't expecting to go to a funeral!" I responded. Then she said, "Your butt looks big. You should've bought a different dress."
Wow...luckily I haven't had to face any comments or snarky remarks from anyone...I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
Wow!! Don't let it get to you, ok? I can't even imagine how I'd react if someone said that to me!

You know how some people have no filter? My uncle actually said to me "We got your invitiations, your mom said you were planning your whole wedding yourself and I was expecting a disaster because you're a disorganized child. But the invitations are really nice and maybe this wedding won't be bad after all."
