Lovely pictures but I dont think your post title is really accurate since you didnt really spend $45,000 on the actual wedding but more on travels

I think it’s wonderful that you saved so the cost was still within your means, and that you spent it on something that is truly memorable. You will have those memories for a lifetime, and you can’t put a pricetag on that! We’re doing something similar, on a smaller scale to fit our means, but with the idea of “one last hurrah” before committing to a mortgage and children. I think it’s fantastic and I can’t wait!
