I did not include the cost of the honeymoon, rehearsal dinner, rings, and stuff the groom would pay for (my flowers, bridesmaids flowers, officiant)- Those things were still not much though. And we did have a Friday night wedding with only 85 guests..makes a big difference I know!

@mrscandy: We had a florist, she was great and pretty affordable! I had thought about diy and am so glad I did not, just because I was already so stressed and it ended up being about the same price..plus the florist was able to load them all in and set them up as opposed to me...And she gave me a great deal on a day of coordinator!

My diy things were my invitations, escort cards, and menus, and favors, and wishing well, and memory photo thing.

@norab2684: lots of planning, research, negotiating, a little diy, smaller wedding (85 people), re-purposing some of the flowers, Friday night wedding...and the 10k does not include the stuff groom's usually pay for or the honeymoon....also it only includes part of the dress because my grandma payed for some of it..so it is more like $10700 I guess.... still, the food was awesome, all my vendors were awesome. I was happy with the outcome of all my hard work.
