We wrote our ceremony this weekend! We also decided on the music we are going to use. We are starting our traditional (Variations on the Kanon in G) but then we are making it unique to US. I will be walking down the aisle to Belle and Sebastians “Fiction” and as we leave the chapel at the end we will be playing “Fresh Feeling” by the Eels.
We are so excited! I do have a question, though: Do the attendants usually walk in to something different that the music that is played for the parents and Grandparents as they are being seate?

The attendents typically do have their own special song.

You can really do it any way you want. We didn’t have anyone special escorted before the wedding party, but everyone (including me) walked in to the same song. I’d talk to your musician about what they think in terms of flow and what not.

Our attendants walked into Vivaldi played on guitar, then I walked to “So Here We Are” by Bloc Party and we recessed to “Signed, Sealed, Delivered” by Stevie Wonder. I felt like having my own song made it more special… especially since that song was very personal to me!
