Your photos are stunning! You look amazing in every photo. Congrats!
Beautiful! I love the personal touches with the photos at your new house and the Starbucks, that really makes it so meaningful and particular to you guys! Your new house looks lovely btw ;)
@bakerella: Thank you so much :) I even snuck in that turquoise velvet wingback chair - I got it for free off the curb and my husband HATES it!
Even though my eyes and face are puffy from too much food/too little sleep I'm so happy we did these. Our wedding day was such a blur and went by so fast that this felt like a little extension of it.
Love the contrast of you two all dolled up against the winter-y nature background.
@Grizz: I love that chair!!! I think that's half of what makes the photo so fabulous! And you lady, look stunning, I don't see one iota of puffiness!
@Grizz: So lovely! Seriously, you guys look like 1920s (or something. sorry, I don't have my decades and styles right..) movie stars in that picture! I love it!
These are so amazing! And I absolutely love your husband's polka dot tie.
I had never even heard of "day after" pics -- or even the kind of photojournalistic e-pics everyone does now -- when DH and I were married 2.5 years ago. These are absolutely gorgeous!!! This could be a magazine layout!!
Omg, these are amazing. Has anyone ever told you that you look like Deanna Pappas? Gorgeous!
This may be a weird question, but how did you get pictures at the barn? Was it on someone's property? I really want abandoned barn pictures but I don't know of any that aren't on someone's property! What were the logistics behind that?
@parasol: Thank you so much! A seller on Etsy made it for us (along with suspenders and a bow tie for our ring bearer) for a STEAL!
@whitandrior: The barn came with the uncleared/wild property we bought with our house...We got a little parcel of land for 'someday' and the barn was a neat surprise!
And thank you all! It was such a fun day. I wish she'd posted the one of me climbing the cattle gate in my gown :)
Wow! I love these. You had a great photographer! What a beautiful couple. Any chance you are selling your earrings or could tell me where you got them? They are exactly what I've been looking for!!
OMG. Take this as a compliment but jesus girl you look like a gorgeous version of Sarah Evans! It's like looking at a magazine shoot! Fabulous pictures! You two are gorgeous! Congratulations!

Our photographer blogged our day-after shots today! We had a lot of people ask why in the world we'd do them, but I think they are my favorite photos of all. They were taken literally the day after our wedding - I'm rockin some dirty hair + the same fake eyelashes lol!
If you're on the edge about day after pics - DO IT! Even if you wait for weeks or even months. It took the pressure off on our wedding day about getting tons of shots of just the two of us, it was way more relaxed, and we didn't have to worry about getting anything on my dress or smooshing my bouquet or anything like that. It made it extra special that we took them at the new home we built and at the Starbucks we ended our first date at.
