Well our invites have been made and mailed! YAY!! It was a bit of an epic process… and yes pinterest and etsy have A LOT to answer for hahaha!
Our wedding is going to have a bit of an Australian Art deco type theme. My dress, juliet cap veil and even engagment ring are all inspired from this period too!
I made and designed all of the invitations myself. Including having to make the pocket envelopes as the invites turned out to be a ‘custom’ size. He he!
excuse pic size, i have no idea how to make smaller
final design 🙂
We are so happy with how they turned out! I must say that using a paper guillotine was quite nerve wracking at first, but I soon got used to it 🙂 Any way, here are our pics 🙂
all guillotined up and ready to go…
what they look like on the inside
and the outside 🙂

Thankyou so much! We have chosen to get married at one of the oldest buildings in our area, which was built in 1890. It was originally a nuns convent and is now a hotel/pub. 🙂 So I really worked at ensuring our invites reflected alot of design based on that period. 🙂 Took hours of research 🙂

wifey2be: They are soo soo perfect!! <br /> Would you want to share any of the process with me? That’s almost exactly what we are going for (though I think i’ll try to make them standard sizes so I don’t need to make envelopes too lol!)
My engagement ring is a 1920’s replica, my dress is light gold to reflect the “vintage” color, with lots of beading.
I would love to see more of your decor and stuff for your wedding!!! I’m sure it’ll be amazing!
