I love it! Cute theme and the packet together looks great. You are lucky to have an FI who is so artistic for the illustrations! My only suggestion would be where you have "legal" struck out, the way the line intersects the last l it almost looked like a handwritten b and momentarily stopped me. Not a huge deal, but my sis is a graphic designer and I think I am starting to see like her after years of lectures haha!
@takemyhand: Thank you! That's exactly what we need, a fresh eye. I will move the line a bit.
Extra kudos to you fror being crafty and putting it all together! Good luck hammering in the details!
A-mazing! I've loved those from the first time you posted a draft! Those flowers are fabulous! The whole package is just gorgeous. I'd be so excited to get that in the mail!
I'm with Bakerella - been loving these since the first post about them. It's so awesome to see them finally all together! They turned out absolutely perfecto!
@jessiesdream: No, they are from Martha Stewart. : ) Damn that woman, everything she produces is amazing!
@love108: I would love that! My FI is a truly talented illustrator and has done several of her friends' wedding invitations.
I LOVE these...the illustrations are amazing and the paper flowers are SO cute. I am beyond impressed!!! Especially since I just started the DIY process on my invitations this week!
We got our envelopes! Here's a picture with our stamps and address labels. : )

Thanks everyone! I am really happy to see them become "real." I can't wait to send them out!
LMAO @ "lesbegin". You are awesome :) And your FI has some mad illustration skills!
@linguo42: Glad you like it. : ) It's the name of my blog too. And yes, she is quite talented, and I'll tell her you said so!
Wow these are so cute and very talented creation! She should consider making some money and selling her designs on etsy

Hey bees,
I have been plugging away at my invites and they are almost ready to send out! I received my free hard copy proof from Catprint.com about 5 days after placing my order and they look perfect! I chose the heavy cotton cardstock and rounded corners.
My soon-to-be-wife drew the illustrations for our invites and I designed and assembled them. Here is what we have so far!
Front:
Despite how it looks against my white "privacy dots," the paper is actually a bright, warm white.
The back:
The front of our little invitation packet, with some of the other paper flowers:
Closeup:
With a different flower:
Another view because I'm obsessed:
And the back of the packet: (please ignore the uneven slits, I'll fix that for our final version.)
We are going to go buy our envelopes tomorrow (pink, of course) and then I can post how they look with the invites and our address labels and stamps. I love all the pieces so much!
Thanks for looking!
