We got our final RSVP card returned today. Said couple will be attending our wedding. Which happened over four months ago. Um, at a certain point, the RSVP is largely moot. And for the record, this couple arrived so late that they missed the ceremony. I guess their attendance mirrors their ability to return RSVPs :)

Haha... oh my, well better late than never?  I am wondering if they found it and kinda sent it as a round about apology for missing your ceremony?  Either way, it's kinda funny!

My RSVP "due date" is Saturday and I'm still waiting to hear from about a third of our guests.  Fan-freakin-tastic.

@piglet_625: We had to contact 37 households after our RSVP deadline, and that's even with giving them a week past the deadline to reply. Seriously, people - check a freakin' box and put the already-stamped card into a mailbox! This is not hard!

No way!  Did you check the postmark on the envelope?  I wonder if the postal service misplaced it or something!  I can't image mailing an rsvp back so long AFTER a wedding - especially if I had already attended the wedding!  If it was meant as a joke, I would assume they would have included a note!  Totally strange!

Our rsvp deadline is next Wednesday...we're still waiting to hear back from 50 guests (not households, guests), so I suppose were are in good shape since we invted over 200 guests.  I'm getting anxious to start the seating arrangements, though!

@bunnylovesbear: It was mailed recently. This couple is famous in our social circle for never arriving anywhere on time. Ever. I'm actually impressed that they managed to send the RSVP at all :)
