What do you think? From my previous post we finalized our STD.. They are a bit different, but still kinda the same… We did change the paper, in the end I decided it was still too ivory, so I will post a picture (kinda) of what the new paper looks like, with a breif description (from the website I ordered it from)
First.. The STD:
(Please ignore the grey lines, our STD’s are 4 to a page, the grey lines are my cutting guidelines)..
But anyway.. as you can see, we changed the photo, and chose a slightly different “Save the Date!” design (Black with white outline) which works well with the photo)… FH liked the layout this way, so this is what we went with! We also added our wedding ‘logo’ to the background, this image will make several appearances throughout our suite! Isn’t it AWESOME!? (The astricks will not [obviously] be on the final project, but for or security I placed them there, because blurring our names would have ruined the background image)
and.. Our paper!
Here is the description from the website:
Curious Metallic Card Stock Paper
Curious Collection by Arjo Wiggins
Paper Size: 8-1/2-x-11
Finish: Mica Coated (metallic / pearlescent) Acid Free / Chlorine Free Laser/ Ink compatible – subject to each printer manufacturers guidance on paper weights and use
Curious Metallics… Sheared metal meets shimmering iridescence! Curious Metallics have this sparkling surface and luminescent sheen on both sides of the sheet. This shimmering paper ranges from neutral warm, cool white to deep blues and grays, with playful shades in between. Curious Metals have excellent lightfast properties and are produced using elemental chlorine-free pulp. Acid-free and are made with naturally occurring pigments.
IMHO, the paper is a bit more ivory than white (think the difference between wedding dress white and wedding dress ivory.. not a HUGE difference.. with Alfred Angelo anyway…), which is what we wanted.. But the paper I had originally chosen was just TOO ivory.. Thank goodness I hadn’t ordered it!
So bees, I would LOVE your honest opinion on it.. I know it’s plain, but, it’s to the point.. We will be putting magnets on them *giddy*…
EDT: BTW when this is printed, that ‘logo’ isn’t NEARLY as dark when it is printed!
